Hey all!

CP-E just released their All New Austenite™ Cat-Back System for the Explorer ST’s !

This system has a few unique features that separate it from the pack, so let’s take a look!

For starters the system uses 2.75” piping in the entire system, of which according to CP-E, will allow you receive the benefits of having 3″ tubing without the harmonic vibrations associated with larger piping.

On top of that, with larger piping, you get better flow, which helps recover some power loss in lower RPMs.Here are some more key points:

  • True Dual System
  • True X-Pipe Cross Over inside of front Muffler
  • True Functioning Quad Tips
  • Made out of 304 Stainless Steel
  • Finished with CP-E’s Titan™ Finish
  • 3/8” thick, laser cut flanges
The system is available with Polished, Black, or Titan™ finished tips.

Check it out in the link below!

Any estimates on performance (HP) gains?
Not much if any. Definitely some weight loss! AFE is the only one to advertise any power gains on a 2.5" system, and they say 15hp. I didn't really notice anything when I added mine (Thermal R&D, but a similar design cat-back). The factory cats on these Explorers are the real bottleneck.

This is the nicest looking non-custom system though IMO.
