How hard is it to install a Diablo Chip? Is there a write up I could use. I feel a little uneasy messing with the computer. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the link. The diablo chip looks a little diffrent than the super chip.

Very Easy, just did mine this weekend.

1. Disconnect Battery
2. Remove Passenger side kick plate
3. Disconnect wire assemblies
4. Unhook wire bodies from frame (you see what I mean, they are also clipped on, just pull from the top out)
5. Unscrew 5.5mm bolt on right hand side of ECU and remove the white plastic strap.
6. Push ECU up and pull bottom connector peice out from behind the frame.
7. Then unscrew the bolt that holds the wire harness into the ECU.
8. Pull out ECU and follow instructions provided by Diablo.

Good luck and enjoy.

Not hard at all. Im pretty sure its the same as on the Lightning. Disconnect the battery, unbolt the computer harness, remove the computer, open the computer up and scrape the contacts, put computer back together, insert chip, tape chip in, reinstall the computer, and then reconnect the battery and your all done. A 15-20 minute job IMO.

Gilbert,
If you need help, give me a yell. Hubby has installed many, many, many chips on my cars!
