Nope, I was deployed during my 10th and 20th. I probably wouldn't have gone even if I were home. High school was a part of my life, but I don't sit there and reminisce about it. My life has been much more awesome than it was in high school so I would rather focus on that, and also on what is to come.

I don’t know if there was a 10 year let alone a 20. Even if there was I wouldn't have gone.

I've looked most of those people up when I still had FB and 95% of them did literally nothing with their lives and honestly I was an outcast anyway because I was poor. ****em.

I stopped by my 5 year reunion for about an hour then left. I didn't go to my 10 year one after I was told by numerous people I was expected to pick up the $1,200 open bar charge. LOL

I won't go to another. I graduated with 250 people, and keep in touch with a dozen or so.

I never went (class of 85). I've kept in touch with those I cared too.

My thing is I hate when people walk up to me and say "hey Glenn, how are you?" And I'm like "hey you!" Because I don't remember who the hell they are even though they are wearing a name tag lmao.

Also, my old high school combines classes (i.e 75, 85, 95, etc). I think that sucks, but I think they do it because hardly anyone shows up lmao.

Lastly, I wasn't popular. They didn't care to know me then. So, why try to get to know me now?

Uh, HS reunion? No thanks.....

FWIW... I found that the high school clickness had dissolved.

Every one was very nice to everyone else after 20 years... we All had this 1 thing in common through life.

I had meaningful conversations with people that I had never even really spoken to.

This was about my experience at my 10 year. I was shy in high school so I talked to a few people I had only briefly talked to.

20 year is in ‘23. I may go, may not.

At this point, if I want to see my old high school friends, I go to cemeteries, but then only to tell them to let hell know that I’ll be there to liven things up soon enough.

Went to my 10 year and no one recognized me. I guess cutting off long hair and ditching the glasses changes your looks a little. I talked to a couple people I knew from that time, but overall didn't enjoy it. I didn't even realize the 20 year had already passed.

High school reunions are a mixed bag. It's nice to reconnect with some of the people that you lost contact with. For the most part, everyone wants to see if the jock got fat, head cheerleader is ugly now etc.

10 year reunions are a flex show. "Hey, look how great I'm doing".
20 year reunions are all about the vacations you've been on and what a world traveler you are.
30 year reunions are about how great your kids are doing.
40 year reunions are about how many grandkids you have.
50 year reunions are about who's died and who's still alive.

Didnt go to my 10, 20 was this year ajd didnt even occur to me. I had 3 solid, good friends in HS. Stayed in touch for a bit after I moved out west. Was not popular or in the cool kids club so HS was just a stepping point.
