Diff cover swap out for around $160

Got the ford finned diff cover with drain and fill plugs for $72 from fordpartsgiant.

It didn't come with a vent plug so I picked up a 7/16 20 bolt from advance.

2 pack of ARP 651-1250 bolts (confirmed by LRS from their kit), redline, friction modifier, and RTV came from Summit racing for $88 shipped.

I think you only need relocation for the girdle type covers.

No relocation needed. Looks like the same as the track pack cover.

It's the same as the 13 track pack. I noticed the 12 boss doesn't have the fill and drain plugs.

DR3Z-4033-A. ARP bolts (need 2 packs of 5): 651-1250. Vent cover plug: 7/16 20 bolt.

All done...

Had to drop phb on the passenger side to remove / replace cover. Filled from the stock hole on the front side (more clearance). Stock fluid was nasty. Did a buddy's miata with 80k miles and it was in much better shape. Mine was grayish (RTV contaminated?) and is stinking up my garage. Glad I did it. Will monitor the axle vent for more or less puking.

I paid 72 dorrah for the cover with shipping. Think it was around 60 w/o shipping from ford parts giant.

The stock fluid reminded me of river mud.
