I absolutely despise hill assist ... stupidest feature ever .... I keep trying to turn it off using these directions
Can you turn off hill assist?

But they arn't working for me. I've tried it with just the ignition on. Car running, etc. and no luck. What's the secret to getting the procedure to work????

It does turn off .... right? I keep dicking around with it and can't figure out what the trick is. Car running or just on? Turn the wheel allt he way to full lock or just 1 full turn? Grrrrrrrr, why didn't Ford make it easier to disable this garbage.

When I'm on a hill. And I let off the brake. And the damn thing just sits there instead of rolling back like a real manual should.

Just turn off advance track each time you turn on the car.

This feature can be permanently disabled with a customer tune? I would think so. Just wondering since I would imagine there are others who would like to disable it permanently vs. doing it every time the car is started.

It is on my 13 and the disable instructions, did not work.
You can over ride it with the clutch and accelerator, but
irritating.

probably one of the best features they made on these cars and you want it gone lol

on a really steep incline you'd rather use the e-brake? smdh

Using an e-brake on an incline ... how long have you been driving a manual, a few days, lol :/

I want my car to act like a manual - on a hill, off brake, car roll back.

It is on my 13 and the disable instructions, did not work.

The internet seems to think the instructions work, but for the life of me I can't make it work on my '14 either.
