So I have my 17x10.5 replicas from stang mods and want to buy stickies now I know for a fact the company advertises the BS at 6.82". So my question is must I run a wheel spacer with the IRS or what is the reason for the wheel spacers also do I need different lugs? What size tire should I run and what brand stickies?

most people run spacers just for personal preference visually. I have afs 10.5 and .25" spacers but my 315/35/17 tires would clear without them. But it would be wise to get the low profile irs bolt if you dont already have them.

I have 10.5's as well, if running more than a .25" spacer, I will look into longer wheel studs, you can grind down the current bolt too, I didn't have to do either on mine

I was wondering this myself. I always thought the biggest you could go in the rear was a 305, good to know for sure.

I ran 3/8 spacer on my afs 10.5's and low pro bolts on the inside. You can fit bigger than a 305 on the rear but it depends on the brand. Nitto runs slim so I was able to squeeze a 335 in the rear but i hear the 888 and TQ's are tight with 315s. I also ran factory studs with acorn style extended lug nuts

17x10.5 reps here. 315's with no spacer. MT ET street radial II and low profile IRS bolt. No problems. Not a lot of space. But enough.
