Yep, and re-jetting carbs. What about setting points?

Is a ghost cam the same theory as putting a balloon or playing card to run against the spokes on your bike??????? Now there is a blast from the past for you....ROFLMAO!!!
Hey now. My first two cars had points and I started driving in the mid 90's. One of the best things I did was get rid of them.LMAO!!! You guys are really showing your age. I have not seen points since 1989. However, my 65 was set up on a carb, so I was recently exposed to re-jetting and the single coil/distributor settings.
On the reverse, I was talking to my Dad the other day and asked him if he knew what coil packs were. He said nope LMAO!!!!
Different generations and different technology...……..

Same here. I've even looked into switching my boat to EFI.Ah, the memories. LOL. Back in the day, I spent countless hours working on distributors (Mallory, Accel), adjusting (and re-adjusting) points (single and dual), re-jetting Holley carbs, re-building carbs, float adjustments, using a timing light to set timing, etc. Honestly don't miss it at all.

I remember guys wanting to add fake bovs to non turbo cars back in the day.
