So, I was reading a thread this morning and suddenly, BAM, up came this McAfee (malware?) screen. I could exit the screen easy enough, but you should check this out to see if is, indeed, a malware infection. Here's a screen shot.

No, it's likely a bad ad. They slip through from time to time, but the network does a pretty good job of nuking them in short order. Do you actually have McAfee on your computer?
started getting this ad out of nowhere today. on a mac running chrome and no mcafee installed.
Heck no. I haven't had McAfee on any of my computers for well over 15 years. I have had any further occurrences.
I killed some bad ads last night.
Now my PC is screwed....augh

I been getting the same issue mostly on my iPad. Had it once on my iPhone. But that was a good bit ago. Next time I’m on the iPad I’ll get the links. Most of the time it redirects me to mcafee.com.
Mine was the McAfee.com one. Bad ads and malware sucks!
Is the link truly to McAfee? Are all of you getting the redirect using Apple products?
On my iPad now and happened once I looked in this thread. And that’s the copy and paste of link that pops up Immediately. When I hit the back button it takes me to mcafee. I haven’t tried on any other OS besides apple.
