You had a nice bright day which was perfect for using that glass. I have the 75-300mm F/4.5-5.6 for my Sony. It's no G class or Zeiss, but it does alright for what it is. And I have been trying to track down a 50mm f/1.7 Minolta for a while now. Since the Sonys have come out, the older Minolta lenses have tripled or quadrupled in value since they use the same mount as the Sony.I'm just using my trusty ol 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 glass is all. I have a 50mm f/1.8 I use when the sun goes down. My settings for those where either 1/160 or 1/200 shutter speed and ISO100. The f stop was around f/10 or so .
