Looking for tires for a 6R80 TVS car with about 620 rwhp. Currently on AM 19" wheels all around, so I will be buying new rims for the back. The Forgestar F14 drag wheel is a decent match for the existing AM wheels. Im going to try the MT ET Street R tires and need some opinions on the two size choices:

17" rear wheels with the MT ET Street R tire 305/45/17 or
15" rear wheels with the MT ET Street R tire 275/60/15 with sway bar relo

the 15" set up is cheaper but the 17" setup could be moved to an S550 someday.
Thoughts on if there is much difference in traction?

15" wheel gets my vote. I had that size with Weld wheels and loved them. I ran a 295/55-15.

I am interested in these options as well eventually and am also torn with the same options. Watching...

I am also running the AMR wheels with 18" MT ET SS drag radials right now, 305/35/18 (26" tall).

My combo is a 15" with 3:15s. We started with 3:73s and ended up with the 3:15s, the car responded well to that combo.

If its a street car the 305/45/17 R's is the obvious choice.
