^^^ that is a tall tire for a lowered vehicle.

I suggest Nitto 555RII 285/40R18 on stock wheels. I run a 305/35R19 on a 19x10" wheel, and they have a slight bulge. I have also run NT05R 285/40R18 on stock 18x9.5" wheels which were good on the strip; however, the 555RIIs are better on the street.

305/45/18 Works fine for me, my car is lowered. NT05R if you want to hook. Other tires if you want to drive in the rain or highway drive. Ultimate hook is MT ET Street R in the same size.

I checked Discount and they said the NT05R were discontinued. I saw some good reviews on the Nitto R55R 2. I am really looking for a tire that will at least hook up in 2nd . I had some of the older Nitto 555R on a GTO and they sucked . But I hear the 2s are way better . Thanks for the help and letting me know they have the right size hard to find a tire size chart for Nitto

I can vouch 100% for the RII’s. I’ve got them on 3 cars.
275/30/20
275/60/15
275/40/17 as well.

are you doing drag strip racing or do you identify as a fun on the street car? :ROFLMAO:

If street and you have no luck with Nitto availability, R888's for a contingency plan

Fun street car with a lot of country roads around . I am running Pilot Sports now . I have had them break free in 3rd at 70 MPH when stabbing the peddle . Sounds like the Nitto 555r II might be the best choice

I had Pilot Sports too, I know the feeling
I run R888's, street car, work well on damp roads if need be.
They don't break loose with 725rwtq and 3:73s
I've ran Toyo on everything owned since 2010.
GL with w/e you find and like
