Hey guys I am working with my local car club to rent Mason Dixon Dragway in Maryland. I wanted to post up the dates that were available to see if anybody in the form wanted to come hang out with us for the afternoon or morning depending on the time slot that's open.

Below are the dates that are available to us. The most popular date is the one that we're going to select. If anyone's interested in coming out just let us know what day works best for you.

We're looking at between 20 and 30 cars for 4 hours. Depending on the head count, we're looking at between $75 & $100 per car...

    5/5 ,5/19, 6/2, 7/14, 7/28, 8/25

Is there a reason you only want 30-40 cars? Our group - Steel City Muscle Cars - has had nearly 100 cars at private rentals for 4-5 hours and there is no problem getting as many runs as you want. Cost was about $65 per car. Definitely a very good idea and a great time meeting everyone in person. Weather kicked our butts last year though. Hoping this year is a little more sunny!

Usually we only get 8 to 10 guys that chip in. I think we have a limit on the total number of cars for the price point... but I think its 80 or 100... I would be thrilled if more than 30 or 40 cars showed up.

I’d be down to come, I’m not sure if I would run the car though. Just nice to see something happening close to me. I need more mustangs in my life haha

Ive been to a few similar events in SoCal. They are a GREAT time and you'll have the opportunity to run the car as much as you want without waiting.

Wish I was closer, i'd be in for sure.

A 100 cars? Thats kinda defeats the purpose of a rental which is to get a shit load of passes in.

We usually max out at 40. I've made 25+ passes with my stick cars at some of them. Literally got tired of going down the track, I had made so many passes.

Yea 30-40 is optimal. We usually put in $200 here but we don't get that many but thats sorta the whole purpose of the rental.

Nope - you could get 20+ passes with 100 cars there. Everybody doesn’t hot lap for 5 hours straight.

Hey folks, I think this goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway...

The owner of the club is a law enforcement officer and many members are also members of federal, state and local law enforcement. While we are inviting members of this club, it is extremely important to remember that it is a private event. The expectation is that members will be bringing American Pony Cars or American Muscle Cars, all participants and guests are on their best behavior and all rules are adhered to.

Our goal is to have as much family friendly fun as possible. We hope you have a great time.

Just wanted to let you all know that this got canceled due to a lack of pre-pays. We couldn't make the numbers needed. We'll try again in the fall.

The event has been cancelled, but yes, typically when we do track rentals, anyone can bring whatever they have. As long as its safe and make it through tech, we love seeing all kinds of cars.

Our last 3 events have been road course stuff. Seems like a lot of people around here are losing interest in drag racing.

We'll try again in a clue of months.
