Why do you not list dual bolt pattern wheels that will fit other vehicles?

    Example:
I am building a 2002 Elantra into a Chump Car. The bolt pattern is 4x114.3 with a +40 offset. You have 2 wheels listed in the section yet TONS more on the site that will fit without issues. The common thing is to find 4x100/4x4.5(4x114.3) with the correct offset and 99% of the time they fit without issue as long as the back spacing is within tolerance.

I ordered the Drag DR33 in 15x7 4x114.3/4x100 +40 for the Elantra as i know they fit but was surprised that they were not listed under the wheels section for the car?

When i get them mounted would it benefit DTD for pictures of them installed to help add more wheel selections to the site? At this point i almost went with some AR 919 wheels off tire rack until i found the bolt pattern on the DTD site and searched for the correct offset.

Just some info to help add more choices. Hope it can help.

Thank you for the post and for choosing Discount Tire, Kevinatfms! We appreciate your feedback as well

The fitment results displayed on the site typically do take into account dual drill applications because as you know, dual drill fit multiple vehicle applications, soI'm not sure why only single drill wheels are being shown for your Elantra.

I'll touch base with our fitment team to see if they can provide any insight and will report back! Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thank you for your patience - I just received a reply back from our fitment team.

From what I'm told, your generation Elantra have bolts that protrude from the mounting surface and require a cavity backed wheel in order for the wheel to seat properly on the hub. Most dual drill wheels are not cavity backed which reduces selection for this application.

Have you received your DR33 wheels and if so did you try mounting them?

I look forward to your reply and thanks again for reaching out!

The bolts are countersunk into the brake disc. Nothing protrudes past the face of the disc. Same goes for the rear drums. Ill fit the Drag wheels on Sunday and get pics so that you can update your fitment team that the disc holding bolts do not protrude past the disc face.
This is the same as the old 16x7" +40mm Drag DR31 wheels i bought a few years back. They fit great with no issues. See photo of the Drag DR31 in 16x7 4x114.3 +40 mounted on my last Elantra.

Can confirm the bolts are countersunk into the rotors after yesterday. Im still waiting on the tires to get mounted and now some new brake rotors(beat them to a pulp pulling them off).

But i will get pictures the minute i get everything back together.

That's great to hear, thank you for the insight into the hub. I'll be sure to pass this information along to our fitment team.

If you have any photos of the hub, can you PM them to me?

    Thanks again, Kevin!

Im headed over today and will grab some pics of the hub face and rotor face with the countersunk screws.

I believe the earlier Elantra models from 1996-2000(J2 platform) had the protruding screws they are talking about. The 2001-2006(XD) Elantra has the countersunk screws.

Here are the wheels installed on to the Elantra. Ours doesnt have the screws(were probably removed at a earlier brake replacement by the PO). But the rotor face is countersunk and the wheels fit right over the brakes no problem.
