There is a company out there offering what seems to be a very nice CAI kit. On their add, they show a dyno chart proving their hp and torque gains. Now...here's my question: Since a dyno doesn't REALLY measure horsepower...it measures torque and computes hp off a mathematical calculation, my understanding is that hp and torque will ALWAYS be equal at 5250 rpm. I have even been told (by Marlan Davis) that if you ever see a graph that shows otherwise, it's "faked". Do you guys who have graphs find this to be true? Does this hold true for an engine dyno and not a chassis dyno? This companies dyno graphs do not intersect at 5250. I'm wondering if they have played with the graph or I'm misinformed.
