I have a 55 gal drum of pump E85 that was pumped from the pump in South Fl apx 2.5 years ago. Stored in a VP drum on a pallet inside the entire time. It tested dead on 85% today.
Is there anyway for it to loose octane without changing the percent of ethanol?
Can it still be good for that long?
Is it good as long as it test good?

I wouldn't run race gas that had been stored that long but mainly because I can't test the octane like I can the E85.

It has ran good every time that I have used it, most recently the past weekend.
Wouldn't the water be at the bottom of the drum?
