Engine coolant drain to remove lower manifold?

i am going to be removing my lower manifold and was wondering if I need to drain all my engine coolant, or any at all?

my main concern is the heater hose at the passenger side as it's a long neck and i don't want coolant entering anywhere when i remove the intake.

any help on the issue would be appreciated

Drain the Inter cooler and at least 1/2 the engine coolant.
