Had a request to post pics of my 96 Mystic engine bay. The car has 402 miles on it and the only thing changed under the hood is a new battery and oil filter. I did shine it up to make it pop.

Good looking, clean engine bay. I wouldn't expect anything else from you, Goose. LOL. Such a nice looking Mystic. You're fortunate to own it.

Nice job Goose. I'm sure it will be of great help for many.
The plug wire routing alone is always tough to get nice and neat, so I'll be using this thread for reference shortly.

CLEAN!!

What product did you use to make that engine bay look slick?

I got the engine super clean with Simple Green and then sprayed this on it:

Goose! I live vicariously though you man. You have every car I'm trying to get.

Thank you sir. It took lots of time hunting, but I now have all of the cars I had planned on. I like cars that POP!

My garage will grow in size with a planned expansion in the next year or two. I’ll have to look around and see what else I “need.”

As ive told you before, I'm building a 45'x60' shop in anticipation of a Shelby and 00R. Then maybe a clean, stock and low mile fox. We have very similar tastes

Your engine bay is BEAUTIFUL and that routing of the spark plug wires is masterful.

Just a quick note though it appears one of your water pump bolts is seated all the way (see above pic).

Thank you!

What am I looking for on a bolt...?

It looks like one of the bolts is not threaded all the way in where the water pump pulley bolts onto the water pump.

Went and checked. It’s just an illusion in the above picture. Everything is so shiny... it’s just a reflection. All bolts are fully seated.
