I have a 2002 Mustang GT with a lot of mods and a dyno tune.
In order to pass NJ Emissions testing I have to remove the tune. Not a big deal.
Once the tune is removed the I/M monitors will go to the Ready state after the driving cycles.
One issue I have is that the Evap Monitor will not go to the Ready state.
I have driven many cycles and many miles to get this stupid thing to set.
Is anyone here from NJ and familiar with the inspection station emissions tests.
Will my Mustang pass the NJ emissions test with one monitor, the evap monitor, in the Not Ready state.
Please help. And thanks.

Probably not, Idk if your state allows insection waivers but if you go get it inspected with that not ready they should tell you to drive a certain distance and come back Then you go back after that distance and if it still isnt ready they give you two sheets of paper which you take to the DMV and their inspector will look at the paper and write a code that they will enter into their inspection machine to let you pass. I did this with one of my cars this year as it would not go to ready for the evap or catalyst.
