Very clever and inventive ad. Awesome car, too? Shame he has to sell it.

This type of ad seems to be spreading on CL.

I want a E92 M sooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!! Only cars on this level of fun to drive is a boss or GT3!!! him. I can't bring myself( meaning wife won't let me lol) trade the E46 for a E92 even though it is better in absolutely every single way.

Any time I see ads like that I immediately stop taking the ad serious. I wish people would just get to the point. Post the basics. I'm looking for a car, not a fantasy story that tries to be funny yet fails miserably.

Nice car and very funny ad. Im not sure how the ad will impact the sale of the vehicle with potential customer base.

Good luck to your buddy.

Yeah, I made fun of his "torque" too. 4L v8, not very torquey apparently...revs to like 8k or something retarded like that though. Those # were in Denver too, so it MIGHT hit 400ftlb closer to sea level.

Sick car.

IMO those type of CL ads are being overdone.

Read the first 3 sentences then just skipped to the pictures.

:lol1:

Amazing thing though, stock they produce below 300 tq yet still give a 5.0/SS/SRT-8 a run in the 1/4 despite the 100+tq disadvantage it has against those cars.

Might have timing reduced down low on purpose to lower the torque because it will help preserve the OEM rods. Not sure how strong the OEM rods are. How about it INOV8? :poke: ;-)

They rev to 8400 stock, up to 8600 with a tune if I'm not mistaken..

Those numbers are also on 100 octane. Wonder what its numbers are on a more readily available fuel such as 93?
