An unrelated electrical issue will be covered.

Now, if they pinched a wire during installation, that's a different story.

I wish the dealers were that nice here. They are ignorant sometimes. I was turned down for an AC actuator because I had "oversized" wheels at my local dealer. I'll be messaging a few friends that work at the dealerships and see if they think it can be covered

Did you pressure wash under the hood ?

maybe a collection of water that hasnt evaporated

i worked on a range rover with a similar problem, every time he brakes hard the doors lock/unlock or the something interior wise chimes on/off.

turns out it was water collecting on the floor, rolling back and forth cause a fault to ground
all due to the sunroof drain clogging

it sounds like that where you need too take your brain to figure your issue out

No, like one one of the wires has a short to the chassis. For instance pulling a wire thru a hole in the fire wall and the sharp metal of the hole strips the insulation off the wire so the bare wire is now touching the metal of the chassis. That's a short to ground.

That'll do it

Thank you very much Shaun for pointing me in the right direction

Hope that works out for you.

Everything seems all good

Now if only a roush rep would chime in and let me know what that piece of metal is for. It's almost like a nail for furniture. It's hard and sharp

Like I said its always something so simple. I pretty much found a needle in a haystack. This is the downstream iat sensor wire that goes down behind the engine up against the fire wall. Idk what made me look there

Looks to me like that wire was cut and soldered together, then heat shrink put over it. Kind of looks like the point of the sodder poking through
