Uh huh. I'll believe it when I see it.;)

My buddy and I tend to get there early. Depending on when you're planning on getting there maybe we can roll through the gates together.

I heard they have been charging admission at Irwindale. I get it, but no thanks.

Location was horrible and I tried going to the show and ended up leaving because I was waiting in line for way to long...Knotts Berry Farm was a great location and I really enjoyed past shows.

We ran into an old friend that was spectating. He said it took him an hour to get from the freeway to the parking lot. I'm sure some of it was everyone wanting to get out and do something last year. Everyone was tired of being stuck inside.

Location sucks ‘cause there’s one entrance and, like previously mentioned, the single line gets long with the hundreds of cars. By then, temps are near 100° so sitting through lights without moving for a while does suck. Once in, the show itself was pretty cool.

I've been thinking about it, still sucks they left Knotts. It was perfect there.
The Knotts Berry Farm location was such a mainstay. I've attended Ford events in CA before, and that one was always well attended and well run. Maybe more people will try to get to Irwindale earlier, which might reduce the peak. ?? How was the exiting last year? Long, unbearable lines as well? I assume it was a little better because you're not stopping at an entry point.

What I was told was Knotts was bought out by a foreign company. The company looked at the show and didn't see enough money made to continue letting it happen.

Yeah. Irwindale isn't perfect, but at least we still have the show.

Exactly, still a great event and make for a weekend of car fun.

I don't remember exiting being horrible. But then we tend to wait and let the line die down before we take off. We did the same thing at Knotts.
