Fastest 6-speed,irs,no nos. cobra

Nothing but some good mph so far, I've been playing around on radials. I want to be able to run 9.9's on radials the way I drive it to the track. So far it's trapped 143.4, but at only a 10.3 with a [email protected] 1/8 mile and a 1.76 60'. This was also with no ice in the tank, just as it drives on the street. At the local 1/8 mile track I got a little better with the tire and went [email protected](with ice) with a 1.64 60'. I think this would have been really close to a 9 sec pass at about 145 the way it runs out back. Probably a 10.0. I'll be putting the 28x10.5's on it soon though and see what it'll really do. The DA was just under 1000'.

Indeed it is. It's a whole new driving learning curve too. I'm still short shifting it as I'm not used to making power that high up in the rpms.

Mods are a 2.4kb with strictly inlet@22lbs, full 3" exhaust and stock irs with a brace.

What was the 60's? Looked like it was coming out pretty good.

1.48 or 1.49. It was bogging alittle but the shafts couldn't take anymore

Yea but for them to run even these numbers they have to make 1100+whp. What does a irs 6spd supra at 500-600rwhp run? Oh thats right its still running 12s-13s.:burn:

Woah now killer, calm down. It's not my fault the Supra's longblock and drivetrain can handle that much more power than the stock cobra 6-speed and IRS.

You have to give it up to Toyota for over-engineering the Supra.

As in the joke is old as hell. Ive seen cobras with 500 rwhp run 12's this year. Using your logic, 500rwhp cobra's only run 12's.
