I have gotten routed to a Firefox Patch several times from this forum. An exe downlod box will pop up.

Anyone else getting this, looks suspicious. I've only seen it from this forum.

It seems this is some form of advertising Malware, admins might need to look into it.

Never, ever, run a .exe presented to you as a patch. If you are on a public wifi, it is easy to spoof the wi ft I and inject that into the HTML stream.

This occurred yesterday for me as well but my virus software caught it. I also routinely get script errors on here so bad that I have to turn off java.

Ok, I just got a capcatcha screen but it is legit. It is from Cloudflare, which is a hosting service we use. Just check the box on it. It will not affect your computer. It's just checking to make sure you're not a bot.

They must have changed a setting recently, and that's why we are getting that Cloudflare screen. We're looking further into it. It is not harmful though.

Many of the ad servers that SVTP have are corrupt. When anyone hits the page with the ad server hosting at work it sets our alarms off big time. If you get a popup from this site do not run it!

I started getting the Capcatcha (Cloudflare) screen today. Pops up continuously and often within the same thread. Prior to today, I never got it. In one case it negated a post I made, and I couldn't recover what I typed. :(

That is the only thing that drive me crazy about this site.
The computer updates always take place at around 2am and shut the site down for a few minutes. Good for the vast majority, but sucks for me. That's the time I generally have time to get on the computer most weeknights. The screen hangs and hangs and then I get the Cloudflare notice to retry later or look at this nice recorded main page for a while.

But for ads I am always running Ghostery. It blocks ALL ads and trackers.

The only reason it pops up on me is I don't block ads on this site. I like to support the forum. A lot of other sites on the web have so many background links I don't think twice about shutting the links down.

Hell I was on a site last night, can't remember what, that had 35 to 40 external embedded links.
