Did yours have a plastic insert inside the bottom??? Not sure what it was for so I pulled it and installed without any issues. Unless it has a purpose that I dont know about.
Is it a black insert? Mine might, I'll have to check.

Install note:

I haven't had a problem with this personally, but one person has reached out. Their stitching broke and the bottom of the knob when they went to install it. The knob spun up against the jam nut (like you see here on my MGW shifter) and sheared the stitching, naturally causing it to break and unravel/come loose. If you're installing this, or any knob of this sort with a jam nut type retention system on your shifter, you should use a washer in between the jam nut and the knob itself to prevent damage to the stitching of a knob of this type. This doesn't just apply to the knob I'm selling but any knob of this type. A lot of you already know this, but I wanted to make the note that I am 1 man, not a big company, and I cannot be held liable for damage during improper or careless installation.

Another note: The individual and myself have resolved this, and I am putting their center into a knob that I have. They are covering the cost of the knob core ($47).

I am just posting this for my liability! Thank you all!

OP any ideas on when you will start doing the third gear versions? I'm sure i'm not the only one who's interested in one, perhaps we could do a poll on here or do pre orders to ensure you have enough buyers before making them. I'd like one but if it's not within the next few months I'll be ordering a 6th gear version.

I bought my 6speed one bc a t56 is sitting in the shed waiting, but I’ve been using it with the stock 5 speed and it’s amazing! Would love a 5 speed version for now.
