Step 1: Go to a dark spot in your yard at night. The darker the better.
Step 2: Hold an led flashlight close to your eyes pointing into the yard.
Step 3: Find a sparkle reflecting back at you. There will probably be hundreds.
Step 4: Follow sparkle for closer inspection.
Step 5: Burn the entire yard.

no thanks, I'll pass. as long as they're outside...it's all good.

You could try it inside. You never know what you might find. :lol1:

I have always hated spiders, but my brother showed me this trick tonight and it doesn't bother me. I always knew they were there, but never knew how many. Now knowing how many there are and how many times I have walked barefoot or sat in my yard or rolled around with the dogs in the yard, it doesn't seem that bad.

Now to show the wife how to find "ladybugs" in the yard...BRB

You just freaked me out as I often walk out to my shed after dark. Now I'd be thinking about all of those nasty buggers hiding in the grass. LOL!

Hell, house I used to rent about 16 yrs ago, had a fairly bad roach infestation. One night, I kept hearing something rustling in the backyard. Go to turn the lights on to the back porch and the whole backyard scattered.......FNG roaches everywhere!
Needless to say, I moved a month later..........

If I can remember I'm gonna try this before I leave for work tonight. It's dark by then.

And yes, I'm terrified by spiders.

My back yard is about a half acre of grass and it lit up like a christmas tree last night. Thousands of them that I could see. What is really creepy is that you only see the ones whose eyes are facing you and not behind blades of grass.
