Brand New - Never Display, Perfect Condition! Out of the box for photo session only! This is a very rare limited edition model of the 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra 4.6 DOHC 1:4 scale engine. This is truly the most awesome Mustang, Ford or any collectible of this type I have ever seen, Period! Ford commissioned 1000 of these extremely accurate and detailed operating models be made for the “SVT Cobra” engine. These were award to a few of the select dealers as an achievement award. These were mostly given to various Ford executives, engineers, insiders and dignitaries. Some were donated to charity auctions.

This rare fully functioning model engine is one of only 1000 made. The model is made of steel and plastic. It is very heavy as a result. The weight of the engine is 5-lbs,8oz, the stand alone is 14oz, the platform base is 1-lb,14oz. The measurements are from the front pulleys to the back of the flywheel is 6-1/2", the width from head to head is 7-1/2", and the height from oil pan to plenum is 7".The detailing and accuracy is beyond extordinary anything you typically find on the retail market. Every part is intricately made right down to the fuel injectors and SVT engine plaque. The replica detail is such that you can see the copper windings through the vents of the alternator, cut away cam cover where you can see the valve train and operating rotating cam timing chains, operate the brass throttle body butterflies, IAC motor, the true texture in the intake plenum and exhaust manifolds, and pull out the oil dipstick. Through cut-aways and clear plastic cam coverings show the rotating timing chain, cams and operating valves. The pulleys rotate as well, showing the belt tensioner and moving parts. Anything tied to the serpentine belt rotates. Yes you can see the timing chains move along with the cams. I can guarantee you this is no cheap diecast at all. This truly is one solid model. This model is so detail that its detail right down to the nuts & bolts. A crank tool is included that inserts into the pressure plate to turn the engine. This could well be the most detailed model engine ever built in a 1:4 scale. This is a must for the FORD collectors.

These were never offered to the public and very limited now. It comes complete with box, 2001 SVT Mustang Catalog and full packaging, black base and stainless steel engraved plaque with edition number. $850 or a reasonable offer!

I just picked one of these up and wanted to know where you found info that states that only 1000 were made? I have the 03 version with the eaton and each one is numbered (The number is on the stand and box it is packaged in). Is this one numbered? I think the info you posted might be for the 03 engine.

These are numbered guys! Mine showed up and is number 277 out of 1000. The sad part is that mine had the tick or the bottem end went because it had something rolling around in the oil pan. :fm: LOL

I also have a 03 supercharger one that will be here next week that hasnt been opened either. These things are so cool!!!
