Build it your way! The Ford Racing 46X Modular Stroker shortblock is a great way to build modular power – from mild to wild – naturally aspirated or supercharged – 2 valve - 3 valve or 4 valve. Bored and stroked to 5.0 liters and fitted with premium Eagle forged crank and rods and Mahle forged pistons, this short block is precision internal balanced and ready to be finished to your specific application.



4.6 based Modular short block bored and stroked to 5.0L – that’s 21 cubic inch increase
Ford Racing Dyno testing results:

2V NA - Production 2V PI Heads, PI Intake and TFS Cam – 369 HP/393 lb. ft. torque
3V NA - Ford Racing 3V Ported Heads, Ford Racing Intake and Hot Rod Cams – 440 HP/435 lb. ft. torque
3V SC - Ford Racing 3V Ported Heads, Ford Racing 2.3L Supercharger and Hot Rod Cams – 748 HP/667 lb. ft. torque



Precision re-manufactured aluminum block with silver power-coating
Mahle® forged aluminum pistons - 0.5 mm overbore, with 10 cc dish and reliefs for 3 valve pistons
Eagle® 3.750-inch stroke forged steel crankshaft with 8 bolt flywheel pattern
Eagle® 5.850-inch forged steel "H" beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts
New high pressure oil pump
Neutral balance rotating assembly
Designed for 2, 3 or 4 valve cylinder head combinations (piston to valve check required depending on camshaft)

Why no 4v specs only 2 and 3 are listed in their dyno results and recommended components

My guess is because since Ford Racing doesn't have 4v heads anymore they didn't want to give any misleading information that would bring a bunch of 4v head inquiries.

That said, it wasn't FRPPs idea to drop the 4v heads.

Still the same price, on backorder until 10/31

These have been on backorder for quite some time; however, lately most have been shipped within a few weeks in most cases
