Hey guys, I get enough requests on these that I figured I'd just make sure everyone knows we can provide o you with special tools.

I do the same on tools as everything else for you guys, employee pricing plus shipping.

    A few details,

The ONLY way to look up the tools is by looking up the given job in a Ford service manual, I really do not have time to look up tools for everyone that wants them so if you have a manual or access to one PLEASE get me the tool numbers that you're interested in.

One other issue can be availability, the issue is that I have no way to gaurantee how fast I can get the tools. In most cases I have them in 2-3 days but unlike the parts system there is no way for me to check availability.

There are a couple types of tool numbers, the correct number structure should be something along the lines of "303-452" if it's something like T9PP-6548-AB then it's an old number that I can't use.

Anyways, feel free to call or PM me with tool numbers and I'd be happy to help.

I do have the ability to look up tools in the manual but as you all know it's just me here to help out all 81,000 of you so time is something I don't have a lot of to spare.

Hey Jason, you just never know what these tools will run.

Some are really good deals and some are super expensive, it's really hit or miss on this stuff.

I see this post is a little old, but try Helm Inc. This is the same place that sells the manuals to us, and sells to everyone for the same $$.

I know there are quite a few of these lurking around on Ebay and such.

Also, the Rotunda tools are designed (and priced) for professional use. In other words, they are not cheap by any means.

If its a one time use, it may be best to try a cheapo tool or renting one from Autozone or wherever.
If you will be using it over and over, then I guess its $$ well spent

I know this is an old thread but...

I am looking for a very specific Ford fuel tank locking ring tool for use on 2005+ Ford Mustangs.

The current part number is 310-D006 and the old part number may have been D90P-9275-A.

The tool is used on other models of Fords, but the 2005+ Mustang uses an aluminum locking ring for the sending unit and the fuel pump and you have to apply the pressure evenly across the ring to get it to seat properly without bending.

I needed said tool months ago and I've yet to be able to find it. I ended up making a modification to the leading edge on the ones in my car so I could start them and spin them in without the tool. It was stil a pain in the ass to install the damn things so I'd like to get my hands on the tool so I have it if I ever need it again.

Any chance Tousley can help me get one for a reasonable price?...Ford Rotunda SPX site has it listed at about $100 plus shipping. If I could get it for considerably less, even used, and have you all ad it to the order I placed a few minutes ago, order 30115117, that would be great. My contact information is tied to that order if you want to email me.

    Thanks
    Wes

Nothing in stock at Rotunda, but does show to possibly be available sometime in March.

You'd be looking at around $120 when available.

    Thanks

It's actually gone up slightly. $128.70 plus shipping both ways (around $15-20)
