I saw a new 2018 GT350 for sale and the price was the same as used 2018 models. Going to check it out. I think it would be better buying new and getting a warranty. Its white with blue stripes and has Recardo seats. Any suggestions as to what I should be asking and looking for? thanks

You didn't mention pricing. There are over 700 new 2019's available in the USA right now. The low price seems to be around $58K. Example: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/776139776/overview/

So, new is a great thing, but that car is three model years old. Hopefully they've got the price down in the low $50's? The nice part is the 3 year/36K bumper-to-bumper doesn't start ticking until the first time it's sold - so you've got that as a benefit.

Some of the late 2018's were already getting the 2019 motor. Pop the driver's side coil cover and take a pic of the engine tag. A KA 555 GT350R motor would be a huge selling point.

Can you tell by the VIN number if the motor is the newer model? The price is $55,000.00

At $55K you're about $3K away from a new 2019. Lot's of nice things happened between 2018 and 2019.
Wouldn’t a 19 and up be a better safe purchase?
Totally agree if they stick at $55K. It would have to be low $50's for me to even consider it.

No, not that I know of. The most reliable way is to look under the coil cover and check out the tag.

Your right I am better off buying a 2019 next April. I am only looking at 5k more. This give me time on what to do my 2013 Mustang GT, should I trade it or sell it?
