Or take your originals put them in storage and buy a set of the Shelby Venice wheels for $1,399 + shipping which is a steal for these wheels! Almost the same cost...

I do like the Shelby wheels as an option to stock but I am too much of an original wheel freak and would stay with the base wheels which I had on my 2014 GT500 or the PP wheels. But that is only my .02 cents.

Since we're on the subject of OEM VS aftermarket wheels here..

I had really wanted to get a set of 13/14 OEM Laguna Seca wheels, but when I went to buy them I noticed they have a note that they will not fit a 13/14 GT500.

They're 19" wheels, so a fitment issue never crossed my mind until I saw the note. Do they not clear the front calipers? It seems so odd that they wouldn't fit. I kind of want to get my hands on one just to see for myself.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Yes the stock Laguna Seca wheels will not fit on the 13/14 GT500's because the 2013 Boss LS has 14 inch rotors up front and the 13/14 GT500's have 15 inch. But if you go to buyfordracingparts or other sites you can buy the wheels for the Boss 302S(rotors are 380mm/15inches) that have the same look and will fit the 13/14 GT500's.

A lot of great information, I appreciate it! I assumed the 302S wheel was the same as the LS wheel, just a different color, so I never checked the fitment on the 302S.

I like the gray painted accents on the LS wheel better than the black on the 302S wheel, but I know I'm getting fussy here.

Thank you again for the info.

Happy to help. I thought the same as you with the wheels on the LS and the 302S. I went searching for the specs on the 302S and it said the rotors were 15 inch then looked on the buyfordracingparts site and it said they fit the 2013/14 GT500. I have always liked the LS wheels too and almost bought a 13 Boss LS before getting a 14 GT500.

Good thinking checking the 302S specs.

I agree about the 302 LS, beautiful car. I considered a 302 in yellow, but loved the GT500 more. That's why I thought it would be fun to get a set of those LS wheels to swap on/off my car to change things up sometimes.

The price went back to $1249 so I just hit the But It Now. I know if I don't get them, I will seriously regret it later. They are money in the bank if I don't use them.

Only 1 set left.

Base or PP? I'm thinking it's not a bad idea to pick up a set and just let 'em sit in the attic, doubt they'd go down in value?!

That's $50 cheaper than they were selling for at the start of this thread.

Base and PP.

The wheels are New but must have been purchased and returned with minor marks on them so SA is sending me another set.. If you want to buy anything on eBay that has a return policy that's a chance you take! The Venice wheel is more Beautiful in person and at that price You have to be Crazy not to buy a set if your looking for wheels !!!!!
