Fox Body/SN-95/New Edge squeaky front end fix!

Did a little project on my 95 “2-top” convertible Mustang Cobra today. The front end on this one is “squeaky.” I had the same thing on a couple of my other cars... here is the fix:

Finally took the 95 “2-top” Cobra vert out for its maiden voyage today after doing this project. Happy to report that the squeak/creak is completely gone!

I did solid rack bushings from MM a couple years back in the Cobra and I'm a huge fan.

Also, your 95 with the removable hardtop is a dream car of mine!

I have personalized plates on all of my Mustang Cobras/Shelby GT500s. I have one picked out for the 95, I just haven’t done it yet. Each one is an extra $500 in TX... we get gouged.

But then a thought you usually have more clever plate names

Is the $500 a one time fee? Here in Washington I have to pay $60 a year per car for the plates.

It’s $500 to lock in the specialty plate for 5 years in addition to the regular annual registration fee. I have specialty plates for 6 of my cars. Texas makes good money off me.
