Whatever they're called..I remember them on my L. Didn't install the factory bracket. Really, who wants to display a front license plate? Not me.

Anyway, the dimples on the bumper, is that where a tech or whoever would drill a pilot hole and then proceed with a larger bit?

My Taurus has the same markings as the L, but the holes drilled in the bumper are way off from the markings.

As a former Tech. (now retired), the dimples are for locating the license plate bracket screws. Use to run them in with a drill driver.

And that's why every self respecting Cobra owner has a non marring, no hole license plate mount. Easily removable without tools.

many on here have brackets that require no drilling, by far the best way to go if you must have a front plate.

With the dimples still present and 2 nice holes elsewhere in that area means someone ****ed it up? I am thinking that what you meant. Please clarify.
