Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a possibility to extract more power from adjusting the cam timing on the FR500C engine? The engine is an FR500C which has recently received a refresh with new high compression pistons (11.8:1), cnc ported heads and new valves and I wonder if there is a possibility to extract more hp if the cam timing is adjusted outside the standard center linen 109deg?
If I'm not mistaken, the cam in the FR500C, is the M-6550-T46

Specs:
Intake: 258 deg adv, 214 @.050". @ .003 w/ .472 lift
Exhaust: 254 deg adv, 208 @ .050" @ .003 w/ .472 lift
Centerline: 109 (intake and exhaust)

No force induction only NA build

Following, I have one of these r50’s in stock configuration.
The guy I bought it from stated that the cam specs for the r50 were similar to stock 99/01 cobra cams but have not been able to confirm this independently
