I paid $6.99 for 91 on Sat. This wasn't some fringe, out of the way station. This was at a Chevron right off 101 just south of San Jose, CA.
They're already drumming up $6/gal national averages for summer.
What blows my mind is people are still traveling and going on vacations. They're interviewing people saying "oh we'll just sleep in our car" or "we'll just put it on the credit card."

i got lazy on my usual disclaimer - my pricing is always tanker load delivered to me, with taxes and pump off included (not a station, we fuel our own trucks)

I expect it to jump up prior to this weekend.
This past week it went up $.20 overnight.
