Hey guys, so my car sits every other week in the garage and recently when I've gone to start it the fuel pump will not prime and keeps cranking. When it primes the car runs normal.

What should I be looking for in order to solve my issue? A new pump, relays???

Thanks

Sounds like your pprv (fuel line check valve) or combination of that and a weak pump. Probably time to replace the check valve and upgrade the pump. You'll probably have to replace the tank filler pipe seal as well.

If you drop the tank, the filler neck grommet is a must change. The grommet dries out over time, and with contact to fuel, and will not re-seal to the filler neck. This is true for basically any car.

Also when I test the systems should I test the plugs unplugged and also plugged in by back probing the pins? I'm new to this and just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly without false readings
