Nice build. Start a new post in this forum with the details! Also, does that setup clear the stock hood? Looks like it from the pictures. If so, what did you do to make it fit?
Yes, I’ll definitely start a new build thread. The car’s been up and running for about six years. It was NA coyote FBO tuned on E 85 by Lund for first 3 years. It was so fun to drive. Very forgiving. It was probably making 470 to 480 HP to rear wheel. Once I put the blower on I was making 700. It’s definitely not a forgiving car and if I really wanna get on it, I have to put the 15 inch Mickey Thompson’s on. The 315 nitto DR don’t start hooking until maybe end of third or fourth on a good day. I was looking for the sleeper look with a stock hood. When I put the blower on, it did not fit under the stock hood. I had a temporary junkyard hood that I cut out until I figured out what I wanted to do. I definitely didn’t want to put a cow hood on the car.

On close inspection :)
That’s a Cervinis ‘03-04 Cobra style Foxbody hood so it does have a slight cowl.
I’d like to know too as I planned to use the same hood vs stock.

Yes, it is that exact hood. Luckily someone local had one for sale and I was able to try it on and it cleared nicely without any K member spacers or anything. It is a very subtle cowl. I definitely wasn’t going to put 1 inch or half inch K member spacers after spending all the money on a maximum sports full suspension up front and get it dialed in for auto cross etc. spent a lot of money on a alignment also. It would definitely mess up to geometry. this is the best driving foxbody ever had and anyone else who drives the car says exact same thing. I might get it painted in the next couple years, but holding off as I drive the car and enjoy it so much. If I get it painted, I know I will never drive it and just be paranoid. I’ve had black mint grand nationals and black 04 cobra’s in the past and they are definitely not driver friendly if you wanna keep them looking good. The new generation low profile blowers from Whipple at the edelbrock and maybe new GT500 might fit. I was going to try the new GT500 blower so I can put the stock hood back on. But this hood is very subtle and the vents definitely help out with getting the heat out of engine compartment.
