Getting paid to go to school?

I live in the county referenced in the OP’s article, and sent one of my kids to the community college in question.

They will never get this BS passed, and if they do, I’m moving one county over. It’s ridiculous. They’ve got waiting lists now to get in the programs they mentioned.

I live in this county as well and hope it doesn’t pass. If these jobs are in high demand there should be no need to incentivize it by the government. I would like to move out of Wake County but I don’t know how good the k-12’s are in the surrounding counties.
