Well, I got my dream. 2001. Ice box for the heat exchanger / intercooler. Intake (K&N), long tube headers, straight piped, not sure what brand muffler but it’s solid. Fuel and ignition systems upgraded as well. Got it dyno tuned and it’s hitting 393 at the wheels with 450 torque at the wheels. Clean interior. 83K miles. Maybe I should put this in my signature, anyway glad to be here!

How is is straight piped with a muffler?

What fuel and ignition upgrades? At your power level the stock ignition is by far the best choice.

At your power level there is zero reason to upgrade the fuel system.

What fuel and ignition upgrades? At your power level the stock ignition is by far the best choice.

At your power level there is zero reason to upgrade the fuel system.

i was thinking the same on the muffler comment, pretty sure they're trying to say cat delete.

sounds like the fuel and ignition stuff was already done

It's been a minute, but I think the L came fitted with a 2.9 pulley from the factory

J&S makes the vampire to utilize the stock knock sensor that is shut off from ford. It may save the engine one day. You wont see much mention of it online due to it never being a bandwagon mod.
