Due to popular demand I am setting up a group buy on the Killer Chiller unit.

Many have already installed this unit and know it is a very efficient unit and a great way to keep your IAT2 temps cool.

Here is the picture of what you get, (kit has been modified and comes with different fittings so that you do not have to cut any factory A/C lines).

    killer_chiller_kit.gif

System comes with all necessary lines hoses fittings & retainers
comes with your choice of red, blue, or green led temp gage for monitoring IC temperatures.

Guaranteed to lower your IC temp 50 to 55 degrees.

    Regular price: $649.00

It will be available with or without the gauge and we need 10 or more people to get in for this price:

KC kit w/ gauge: $550 plus shipping.

KC kit w/o gauge: $500 plus shipping.

These kits will be drop shipped for your convenience directly from Kincaid Performance Inc. The kits will be shipped out in the order of purchased. It will take 2-4 weeks delivery from when you place your order. If you choose to purchase the kit w/o the gauge now, and wish to upgrade and add the gauge later on down the road, you can do so for the same additional $50 it is being offered now, (only applies to customers in this group buy), which the gauge usually retails for $70 or more. I will run this group buy at least until the end of this month, however would like to see anyone interested get on the list as soon as possible and put a deposit in place. In the case 10 people or more are not in the group buy, the purchase price will increase $50 on the kits. Shipping will be a flat-rate of $35.00 inside the continental 48 U.S. States.

If you have any questions or would like to make your purchase and/or deposit please contact me or DMP with all of your info, (including screen name, which message board you belong to, w/ or w/o gauge, and gauge color), and we'd be happy to assist you. Thank you, FordFanStan

Put me on the list Stan. I will definitely purchase one of these kits. I will take one with the red gauge. Also, can you guys just have mine shipped to your shop? I will give you guys a call this week to pay for the unit. Thanks man.

Yes and yes  You will love it Albert. Maybe we can get it on before the 29th for you? Lots of things to do before then but it may be a possibility. Sorry I wasn't there the other day when you stopped by, I'll find out the scoop from Dante tomorrow. FFS

I'm just wondering how much this would help on a truck that is not really street driven, I take it out occassionally but its maybe track use. I'm running a 3.4, jlp stage 3 heads and cams, built block, the new trick performace plenum and ford gt accufab TB. You think this would help? And would it only help when its hot, because where I'm from the track is open year round and we get about 60degree weather to run in during the winter. So I'm just wondering if this should be a mod that I should wait for the summer to get.

Well the final decision has to be up to you, but I think it will help in any weather and any type of driving. I was saying on Nloc how we just installed two different units this last Friday. After that we tuned one of the trucks and drove it around. Before KC it had IAT1s about 120+, moderate driving (not the greatest intake/blower setup) and IAT2s anywhere from 140-160*. After the KC the IAT1s dropped to below 20* below the IAT1s. Drove the truck around and it felt more responsive, more power at the pedal, it just all around felt like a complete different truck, and all for the better. This kit is well worth the money IMO, especially in this group buy where the price is almost $100 off. I have been recommending this kit to all of my friends and customers lately, and also have it for my own personal truck. My only regret is that I waited so long to purchase the kit myself. FFS

You mentioned on NOC keeping it open until at least the end of the month. With that being the case, put me on the list for a kit without guage. As soon as my bonus money comes in this month, I'll be getting back in touch.

    qurtrn10...(SVTP, w/out guage)

    Thanks,
    William

I will be leaving for Vegas/SEMA in a few hours/tonight (Nov. 4th) and I am not for sure when I will be able to get to the internet while I am out of town. Our secretary will be in the office and can take your orders if you choose, and I will have my phone on the whole time if you have any questions they can be directed to me. I will follow up on the GB whenever I have the chance and will be back in town on Friday, (Nov. 7th). FFS

The temperature of the IC coolant which will ultimately effect the charge temps is effected by several factors such as ambient temp, constant driving versus idling, use of the HE versus bypassing the HE and the amount of refridgerant in the A/C system.

Most of us mount the temp sending unit in the IC reservoir. Obviously mounting it here means that the coolant entering the IC core is even cooler since the reservoir is after the coolant has already been heated. I've heard the coolant is roughly 10* cooler before entering the IC core.

    Re-tuning is not necessary.

I believe Stan said the end of the month but it may extend slightly longer.
