^^ trust me im with you.. .love everything about the GT350 OTHER THAN the soft ass torque curve.

But.. they trap what they trap! Cant argue that.

I wouldnt mind one with Hellion twins tho? :p

I've driven the OP's 350 and I was honestly impressed with the torque. I thought it was going to feel gutless down low and that was not the case. They're just not a 1/4 car; but they have more than enough torque down low.

So at 2:14 you can see the Mustang spinning those big o' Hoosiers all over the road, yet the 1000+ whp HC can't seem to break his 305 drag radials loose.
Yep, that looks legit.

Here; this was a little bigger shot and it shows the numbers. For some reason it still hooked on the street, on the same tires, with the bigger shot. I dunno tho.

1074whp.

If a hellcat is not spinning, it doesnt make enough power. Our shop hellcat will spin a 15" ET Street R on the street......

Come on down to Atlanta, and run some hellcats. We'll have video. :)

It hooks and definitely makes power. I was in it last SCT event we went to when he was on the 15's and the Whipple and it had no problem hooking from a 2nd gear roll on concrete..

People also fail to realize how gearing and a powerband that revs to 8K+ affect things as well. I tell people that all the time, the 2011 M3 makes 100 less torque than the 2011 5.0 but they run almost identical 1/4 times and trap speeds - gearing and a broad ass powerband.

Stock. But that M3's displacement was its bottleneck when bolt ons came into the picture.

The GT350 and LT1 C7 trap the same speed. However the C7 has always been at least .3 seconds faster to the 1/4 stock for stock. Why? Weight.

*On a side note* - I went ahead and swapped out my C7's stock Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP 285/35/19 (runflats) for GT350 305/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports (non runflats).
