would that still be the case if i went with PBH standalone ?

No need for the stand alone harness from them. The 13/14 PCM plugs right into your 2013 once you change the transmission harness. You will need to wire in the oil pressure sender and the select shift wires as they are not on your Gt500.

The stand alone they sell is more for older cars like fox bodies, sn95s and non fords I believe.

Got it up on the dyno to dial in the new tune.

swapped in the auto and went from a 67mm throttle body to a 72mm throttle body, pulled out 5 degrees of timing to make the tune alot safer and lost about 40-45 hp.

Not bad was expecting to lose 50-60.

I added this info on another thread and thought it could be helpful here:
The shifter harness from Ford for the 13-14 Select Shift is Motorcraft WPT-949.
The pins with wires attached for the cavitys in the PCM plug are Ford DU2Z14474BA or Motorcraft WT-1001.
I bought a 3 wire cable on ebay to run from PCM to shifter: 25' Carol C2831.41.10, 3 Conductor 18 Gauge Unshielded Cable ~ 3C 18AWG.
I ran the cable under the battery to where the car wire harness goes into the cabin. Remove the plastic shield to get to it. There is a nipple on the rubber you cut and run the cable through.
Mine works fine shifting up and down with the switch on the 13-14 shifter.
I will try and add pics.

Pop the white cover off.

Use a tiny screwdriver to pop out the plastic in the wells for the new pins.

The two green wires at top are for up and down shift. Its hard to see the common wire. I will add pin numbers.

Thanks, I was going to add that when I got it done this spring. The pin part number is helpful.

Pin 23 is upshift
Pin 24 is downshift
Pin 56 is the common wire (although the 2011/2012 should have a green/white wire there as its listed as fuel tank pressure sensor, and 2013/2014 listed as ride control switch return)

@WCA did you have a wire already in pin 56?

Yes, I tapped into the wire at pin 56.

You'd probably have to wire the neutral safety switch to the PRNDL switch on the shifter. I *believe* that the Park and Neutral positions in the PRNDL are a simple close switch like the neutral safety.

Great write up!
I believe that someone else asked the question but I felt unclear on the answer....
For an early GT500 (2007), you said the 2011 Harness had to be swapped in...did you mean Coyote or GT500? Since the Coyote PCM will be used. Thank you
