My uncle is ready to order a fully loaded GT500 with the Carbon fiber and we can’t find anyone willing to be reasonable? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

When you wait you pay. If he can’t wait for a second year car and most importantly, won’t accept a non-CFTP car, then it’s MSRP++
    Good luck.

Won't happen. There are dealers lined up every where in the country that will buy them at $10k+ over MSRP. 0 chance.

Ok what about without the Carbon Fiber. Any leads on dealerships at MSRP for the base plus options?

Best bet is to start calling dealerships first to see if they enrolled in the Shelby program and then, do they have any allocations available. Some people have called HUNDREDS of stores. That's what it's gonna take unless you get lucky.

About 6 months late. Should have called the small dealers asking about the Shelby program. When they said no, you needed to offer to pay for the program at $2k to get one at msrp. A number of people did this with good success.

Now it’s a wait, a small northern dealer may get one in the middle of feb. they may deal. Best bet in next summer or pay extra. Me personally I’d buy a GT350 or 997 Turbo drive it for 18/24 months then buy the GT500 for msrp.

Golden Ticket cars will be tough, but people are getting MSRP on non CFTP cars.

Dropping off a new ‘19 or ‘20 GT350 for a Whipple or Hellion install isn’t a bad consolation prize is It?
I’m sure nothing is 100% without risk, but the 350s only real issue of oil consumption has seemed to have been cured with revisions on late 2018s, plus the Voodoo 5.2 is gaining improvements from the 500’s Predator 5.2 (specifically updated strength in the block and heads, improved head flow). Tuners have had many years of learning this tune strategy.
Overall I’d have no reservations doing that until the new 500 is more readily available.

    A 2020 GT350 is tempting.
