Anyone run one of the 600 hp (2008-2010) monster Vipers yet?

Should be a good match up on the strip. Fairly close HP:Wt ratios...

I just traded my '08 Gen4 600hp Viper on my new Shelby 1 month ago.

IMO, Stock vs. Stock 1/4 mile, the Viper's going to win(Except for Driver error). Even with my very limited experience, I managed an 11.88 @ 125, then an 11.44 @ 128 on the next run, and they were the only two times I ever took it down the 1/4 mile. There was plenty left with more seat time too. It's got those HUGE tires out back that make hooking-up much easier than the Shelby, plus it's about 400-500 lighter as well. The Viper is a 10 second car - stock, with some practice.

Anxious to see what the Gen5 will run with the +40 bump in HP & TQ!

Its pretty close to the same performance as a ZR1. Actually me and a few other ppl would give the edge to the Viper vs ZR1. Most here seem to laugh when trying to compare the ZR1 vs 13 GT500 (not me). So id expect the same reaction...

IMO its a borderline drivers race with obviously the Viper having the edge...

I've driven a Gen II GTS and an ACR (~450-470 hp) and they were very impressive. I am considering a Gen IV or a GT500 now and like both for different reasons.
