Picked this up last Saturday. Remington 550-1 with original shell deflector, rare to see it on a one. It’s finally home due to a lack of space in the safe. I need another safe, as there’s currently 3, potentially 4, long guns at the store that are mine but can’t be in the safe. I think I have a problem.

I bought rifle rods to help get more long guns in my safe. Might be an option if you don’t already have them.

My biggest problem is due to what else is in the safe. If I could take the top shelf out this wouldn’t be an issue. But it’s not possible, for an unnamed reason. I can only use 2 rows of 2 for long guns and I have 5 guns in 4 spaces. The size of the guns I can’t use the other 3 rows because I can’t get them (the guns) at the proper angle that they’ll fit.
But I’ll look into rifle rods.

I am trying to complete my four horseman, and the last one I need is an FDE 17. Do you mind providing me with the value that the GS gave you towards your 17 and how many rounds through? You can PM me if you would prefer. Trying to gauge market value.
17 has has 100 rds fired, it was private trade no cash; my 17s w/both 16" & 13" barrels for new in box repr mkii & benchmade infidel knife
I was valuing the 17 at 2900 +/-. The 13" barrel probably worth another 900

The kinetic energy in that round is great, but the unit cost is all over the place. I have seen them as low as $1.75 all the way up to $6.69.
Nice looking rifle. I have never run into anyone with a WC rifle.
