I edc a glock 43...I'm an atypical glock hater because I can admit they are very good guns...I just happen to dislike most of them lol
I installed new grips, trigger and magazine guide on my new Beretta 96A1 and moved the mag release to the proper side. I had ordered a stainless steel guide rod too, but they shipped the wrong part, the correct part is on the way. I'll probably order the Langdon Tactical "trigger job in a bag" next.

Very nice. I like the new grips. You said that you haven't even shot it yet. You've fired a Beretta at a range before buying one? Just wondering. My favorite pistol is my HK VP9SK. I actually took a chance on it because I had never fired one before. The first time I took it to the range it was like it had been custom made for me. LOL. Feels great in my hand. Shoots awesome. Great trigger pull. Great weight. I love it!

I wouldn’t call it an obsession, but the very first gun I ever bought on my own was a GEN 1 Glock 17. I had just turned 21. I traded it in on a Taurus....

Impulse buy. Went to grab dog food and passed the gun counter. Never thought I would want or like a walther but I took it home. Trigger is perfect and it cost the same as my H&K was 18 years ago

Damn neighbors were popping off like crazy yesterday so I joined in the fun.
This was a spare parts build from leftovers. Aero upper/lower, Geissele G2S, Colt 14.5” Socom barrel, DD Lite rail I got on trade, etc. It has been flawless.
We need more info on the "neighbors popping off like crazy". How many? Where? Doing what? LOL!

I have the 229 and it is def a nice gun. It is def true what you said about the reset. As a matter of fact, it has the least amount of reset of any production gun I have ever felt.

I have. I shot the M9 occasionally in the Air Force and have owned a Beretta 90-Two and PX4 Subcompact.
Good enough for the SEALs, good enough for me lol
