So what bullshit is there? Can't let anyone borrow it that isn't on the trust, you need a copy of the paperwork with you, and you must fill out a form to bring it out of state. That's the only things that come to mind.

You can "legally" still own it, you just have to:
-pay the fee to apply for registration
-pay the fee to register it
-pay the fee for it to go in to a safe (which you've gotta pay a fee for supervision to come out and inspect the safe it's going in)
-want to ever take it out of the safe? get approval for it to leave a safe (and pay a tax)
-get approval for it to go in a car (and pay a tax)
-get approval for said car to leave driveway (and pay a tax)
-get approval to shoot it (and pay a tax)
-get supervision to watch you shoot it (and pay a tax)
Etc...
Now repeat on the way home
They'll never fully ban guns
They'll never abolish the 2nd amendment
They'll simply bankrupt anyone that wants to exercise the 2A

Speaking of money.... The attorney I delt with for my nfa trust explained to me the atf wants the trustee(s) to take their nfa items in an evacuation (read as hurricane for my situation). I told my wife hell no. I'd rather someone steal it than get charged across state lines. I say charged because I am required to submit a special form and let them know how long I'd be out of the state and return.

Me: takes gun out of safe, places gun in trunk, drives to range, shoots gun, puts gun back in truck, drives home, cleans gun, puts gun back in safe.
