Whats going on with your optics on the heavy? Also, any issues with running piston gun suppressed?

Its PVS-14s(night vision) behind the Acog and a reflix sight on the top. And no, I got more then a hand full of piston guns and never had a problem running suppressed, they are louder since you can hear the piston hit.

Took the M&P 10 out a few days ago. Here is a group at 100 yards I made using the side of a truck as some support. Looks like it is just under 2". I know that if I had better support I would be at least 1 moa. Super happy with the results!

Not bad. Once I started getting comfortable with a bipod, my groups shrank dramatically.

I have a 20" barrelled 5.56/223 that I can consistently hit 0.5MOA at 100 yards.

I used to be really big in to pistol shooting and, more or less, tactical shooting, then I started to enjoy prone distance shooting.

Does anyone do 3 gun competitions? I've never been in to shotguns, but it might be fun.

Yeah I think that is my next purchase. I want to get a free floated rail and put a bipod on it. If I can get SUB-MOA I will be thrilled.

Don't cheap out on either (bipod or rail), it really does make a difference.

My favorite bi-pod manufacturer is Atlas.

I have. Very humbling experience. Look into long range shooting as well given your rig.

I have a few different rigs...

The furthest I can shoot around here is about 660 yards. I have a friend about 3 hours North of me that you can go up to about 1,000 yards, I'm going to head that way when it cools down a bit.

First match I ever shot was a sanctioned 3 gun match at Woody's in New Hill NC. They squaded me with the USMC Combat Shooting Team. Most humiliating day of my life, LOL. I think I had mild PTSD after that match till someone convinced me to start shooting pistol matches two years later, primarily IDPA.

To me, 3 gun is a great sport, but it seems that it is more of a shotgun loading contest than anything else, since the guys that do that well often win. I personally enjoy pistol matches the most, but that's just me.

There are also 2 gun matches, rifles and pistols. I haven't shot one but would like to.

The 2 gun competition would be more up my alley. Had no idea they even existed.

And they come in two flavors. Some IDPA clubs are now designing stages for both PCC (pistol caliber carbines) and pistols. I'm not real interested in pistol caliber carbines. Yet.

Then there are true 2 gun comps, usually AR's and pistols. The only one close to me runs the same weekend every month as an IDPA match that I shoot, and help officiate.

I know they're good guns, but I just have a hard time getting in to the Walther's.
