I had my car on the dyno and afr checked to make sure the existing tune was safe the other day He could not go from the h-pipe so he went from the exhaust and we had to stop because when the tuner was data logging with his SCT handheld(I do not have one) he checked the 02 trims short term and bank 1 was lean (5-8) and bank 2 was at 15.He suggested that it could be an injector so I checked the ohms with a multimeter and they came at 16.2 each.I pulled the plugs and there was a difference between the passenger head and drivers side.Drivers side had a few plugs that looked practically new on the porcelain which I am assuming means they are in fact running lean. The tuner said it can be an 02 sensor that went bad possibly .
I am new to this. The history of the car is 2004 mustang cobra that was a repossession so I don't have any history of it that's why I do not have a handheld from the tune done,3 inch upper, granatelli mass air meter,k&n intake, off road h-pipe,flowmaster exhaust, afco dual pass exchanger, and a remanufactured termi motor with about 1000 miles on it,tr6 plugs gapped at 34 plus the tune the original owner had done.
we did go up to about 4000 rpm on the dynapack dyno and it made 315 hp and 472 ftlbs at 11.7 lbs of boost and the afr was 11.7.
Also on the thread of the plugs there was some oil or atleast I think its oil but its dark so maybe is whats left of fuel thats burned off?.Should I worry or is this normal.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance with any help you may give.
