Has anyone gotten a Purple Heart after getting out?

I've rated one for a few years but never went through the process as I've put that behind me. Kind of would like to now if its not some beatdown.

Agree with King. I recently retired and kind of dismissed some things on my DD214. Now after getting a federal job, it's coming back to haunt me that I didn't pay enough attention to the details. Not only did you earn it, you're hurting yourself by not following up on something like that.
