I'm new to the IRS world and I have heard nightmare stories about people snapping half shafts at the track. I'm used to cutting 1.6 60ft's in my old Mach. I took the Cobra to the track this past weekend and had wheels hop at the ass.

Do a search for them and also for FTBR or Full tilt boogie racing. DSS shafts are prone to breaking as well. You need to fix why they break. I have seen stock half shafts go low 10's.

Do some searching and reading.

DSS half shafts
FTBR, full tilt boogie racing
wheel hop
springs
shocks
full length subframe connectors

then you will learn a lot about your car and figure out the direction you want to take.

WOW!!! What did you do to the IRS just the brace?

Brace and 3.73's...

Kind of odd that the two quickest 6spd IRS cars are both on Bias Ply tires, and pretty much stock IRS. Both 3700+lbs, and in the 1.4's outa 60ft.
